The latest from the courts on the Corporate Transparency Act is that its requirement that small businesses submit reporting of beneficial ownership is enjoined. This means that the January 13, 2025 deadline mentioned in my prior blogpost is GONE. However, this just means that we all take a breath - the CTA saga is far from finished. Brinkmanship does not go well with transparency.
